The Oakley XPY Pro Junior is Back as the Biggest Junior Event in the UK!

On the 18^th & 19^th September, Fistral Beach in Newquay will be hosting the biggest junior surfing event in the UK. This will be the 7^th successful year of the Oakley XPY Junior. The event is number 4 on the UK Pro Tour circuit with top points and large prize on offer!

This year’s Pro Junior category has a £2000 prize, the biggest ever for a Pro Junior event in the UK. Alongside the increase in money prizes for the Pro Junior category, there will also be an upgrade across all 4 event categories including Under 16’s, Girls & Under 12’s Open.

Jack Clinton, contest director and founder of XPY commented on this year’s event, “I’m so happy to be taking the event into its 7^th year. I started this in year 10 at school and cannot believe how much the event has blossomed over the years. This year’s event steps up again with bigger points and bigger prize money up for grabs as well as a huge after party at Fistral Blu including top DJ’s from across the country. There are also plans for the event to step up to an ASP European sanctioned Pro Junior event so things are looking very promising for the future!”
