International Surfing Day is on Sunday 20th June and with 200 events organised in 40 different countries, the 7th edition of ISD looks like it is going to bigger and better than ever.

With events taking place all day in selected regions. The UK has two spots, Joss Bay Surf School in Kent and the 2010 Challenge in St Agnes.

The day aims to make people discover surfing as a sport and culture and it will include contests, product testing, demos, beach games, prizes and environmental awareness.

You can get involved by sending in your photos and videos of your day to the International Surfing Day crew who will dish out prizes for originality and humour.

So go ahead, grab yourself a new bikini, boardshorts, towel, rash vests or a surf board from extremepie.com and take a day to develop your love for boardsports and the beauty of our ocean.

ENJOY
