Volcom team rider Iouri “Ipod” Podladtchikov fresh off the plane from his win at the European X-Games, didn’t let the jet lag or the lost luggage stop him from taking 3rd. Starting out his finals run with a cab double cork 10, to a frontside 5, to the only double mctwist 1260 in the contest, and wrapping up his run with a huge front double cork 10. Landing him in the 3rd place spot. Not only that but Iouri also walked away with 2nd in the Burton Global Open Series AND 2nd in the Swatch TTR world tour.
Overall I-Pod has had an incredible winter, from taking 4th at the Olympics, winning the European X games, the Canadian Open, and taking second at the Winter X games. And on top of all that being the second person ever to land the famed double Mctwist 1260!!!
