How to take Care of Ugg Boots

Ladies everywhere are looking foxy rocking the Ugg boot trend. But what's soo not Sexy is what happens when your fab new sheepskin friends loose their shape. Don't worry www.extremepie.com have compiled this list of ways to keep your new kicks looking and feeling fresh all winter long.

1. First one is a simple one but soo important! Hand Wash Ugg/ Emu Boots only don't treat them like sneakers and throw them into the washing machine, the aggressive speed of your hotpoint will rip the natural fibres and stretch them faster than you can say " Oh no!"
2. When washing stains out use clean cold water (add half fabric softner and half washing powder for the perfect cleaning cocktail) and immerse the whole boot to avoid those nasty water lines. NB Sheepskin has a delicate surface, which can be damaged if scrubbed aggressively, or with an undiluted concentration.
3. Dry out soggy sheepskin by lightly stuffing it with newspaper or paper towels (this holds the shape in place and prevents unsightly sagging). DO NOT put in sunlight or try to heat with hairdryers as this causes damages to Ugg boots.
4. Once footwear is dry, lightly brush with a very soft suede/nubuck brush in one direction only.
5. Use a mixture of 2 tsp. baking soda and 2 tsp. corn flour to deodorize and soften the inside of the boots. If you wish, you can add a few drops of an essential oil to create a sweet scent. Shake the mixture into the boots and let it stand overnight. Shake the excess out the next day.
